Lamin A. Darboe

1 July 2009

Benjamin Ezi, head coach of Jambanjelly F.C have beamed with confidence that despite their relegation to third division league, Jambanjelly F.C team will be in tact for the third division play off.

"I don't think it would be difficult to retain my players. They are a complete team. If we are coming to play off, they are all coming back. The team remains how it is. No player is going out unless maybe, only the time will tell. But for now it is still a team. We are coming back for the play off" the coach said.

Benjamin indicated that his team (Jambanjelly) would have even qualified to the first division or remain in the second division had it not been for lack of experience.

He said 99% of his players their year, are their first time to play in the second division. 'So we are trying to rebuild the team. Inexperience significantly contributes to our under performance. But the more they continue to play the better they will be in future."

Jambanjelly head coach expressed his gratitude to everybody- the players, fans and sympathizers for their patience and understanding.

"We are still coming back for the play off. He who fights and run, lives to fight again" he said.
