Sharm El Sheik — Angola adhered tuesday to the International Agency for renewable energies, an organization entitled to support countries interested to boost energy capabilities.
Angolan ambassador to Egyppt, Pedro Hendrik Vaal Neto, signed in Sharm el Sheik (Egypt) the letter of adhesion to the agency, which constitutive meeting will take place in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) in 2010.
The ideia for the creation of the agency started two years ago and Angola has been part of its provisional commission of the institution seen by many countries as a way to boost their energy capacities, relying on the financial support of the great powers.
The UAE was elected as the siege of the future organization to be chaired by France, during the meeting attended by 134 out of the 185 member states.
The angolan representation to the was headed by ambassador Hendrick Vaal Neto and included experts from the ministries of Energy and External Relations.
