Luanda — Brazil/Angola Culture House started Wednesday in Luanda a project to stimulate the liking for reading in children, through the promotion of Brazilian children's literature, dubbed "Sopa de letrinhas".
The launching ceremony of the programme, which will take place every Wednesday, gathered first grade students from Sambizanga District, who also heard a story, through the literary work entitled "Zelinha me contou" by the writer Ailezz Silva.
On the occasion, the director of Brazil/Angola Culture House, Tessa Pisconti, said that the project is intended for 4 to 7 year olds.
According to the Brazilian ambassador to Angola, Solange Cardoso, the opening of the cultural interchange space is beneficial to strengthen more and more the relationship between the two states, especially for children.
