Luanda — Culture minister, Rosa Cruz e Silva, travels to Algiers City, Algeria, leading a delegation from the sector to participate in the Pan-African Culture Festival.
According to a press release from the Culture Ministry, that ANGOP had access to, Angola will be part of the event with dance, music, plastic arts, sculptures and weaving.
For the event, the Culture Ministry counts on the presence of the National Ballet group, Duo Canhoto musicians and plastic artists Tomás Ndombele, Marcela Costa, Belmira Gumbe and João Domingos Mabuaka Mayembe.
The event starting on July 4, aims at demonstrating the true image of Africa that is characterised by its wisdom, diversity and rich culture, as well as its tolerance despite injustice and suffering.
