Luanda — The Angolan head of State José Eduardo dos Santos Thursday in Luanda analysed with the ambassador of Germany to Angola, Bernd Morast, the conditions of the relations between the two countries.
Speaking to the press, at the end of the meeting, the diplomat stressed that the relations register "great improvement" after the official visit paid by the Angolan President to Germany.
"We analysed the current conditions of bilateral relations in the economic, political and cultural levels", stated the German diplomat adding that currently it is relevant the cooperation in the oil and transport sectors "where we have Lufthansa making two weekly flights to Angola".
According to the ambassador, the commercial exchange between the two countries reached in 2008 about 800 million Euro, against 500 millions of the previous year.
He said yet that Angola is a very important country not only in the region but also in the continent and the world.
