Uganda: URA to Dominate Transfers

National Super League champions Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) FC have promised to massively recruit ahead of the coming season, when the transfer season gets underway on Monday, at Fufa House, Mengo.

Club Chairman David Serebe disclosed to Daily Monitor that they have a very big budget that will see them through a successful recruitment process.

"We are the champions and need to recruit massively because of our continental obligations next season," Serebe who declined to describe the club budget said.

The tax collectors will be carrying Uganda's flag at the Champions League next season for the third time. The first two representations have not been successful as URA have always been stopped in the group stages.

"I am confident that the boys have matured and can play at any continental stage. We shall strengthen in all departments. A couple of players will do us well," coach Moses Basena said.
