Kampala — Stories on child sacrifice have dominated the news headlines in the recent times. No wonder, local film makers are looking that direction, as they draw insight into what are the possible causes of the barbaric act.

In the new movie, Obugagga Bw'omusaayi, which is premiering today at the National Theatre, a man kidnaps the only son of a fisherman as a sacrifice for wealth.

Little does he know that the small boy, whose blood became the 'source' of his wealth, was also the young brother to his girlfriend.

The film shot by a Botswana based Dargie Digital Studio in association with Contact Filmz, a local film company, presents a work of art, so rare among most local productions.

Apart from a couple of shots, the quality of picture, the weaving of the plot and the dialogue, are commendable.
