Kampala — UGANDA'S crew of Emma Katto and Moses Matovu will leave the ramp third in the Zambia International Rally that starts today with a super special stage at the Lusaka Motor club ground.

Katto, in a Subaru N14, will chase Africa championship leader Zimbabwe's Jamie Whyte and Zambia's Muna Singh in that order.

The super special stage is due on Day 1 in Lusaka. Day 2 will see drivers run five competitive sections of Chaloshi, GM, Kamilonga, Old, and Westage. The same route will be driven in reverse on Day 3.

Katto currently lies second on the 2009 FIA African Rally Championship with 15 points.

Japanese Hideaki Miyoshi won the event last year.
