Kampala — DIAMOND Trust Bank clients can deposit and withdrawal money form Post Bank branches following the signing of a memorandum between the two banks, writes David Muwanga.
The memorandum was signed by Post Bank's managing director Stephen Mukweli and the Diamond Trust chief executive officer, Verghese Thambi, at the Post Bank boardroom in Kampala.
"Diamond Trust customers can bank and withdraw money from our 26 branches and the 17 service points throughout the country. One needs only to come with their deposit forms which bear their account numbers," Mukweli explained at a press conference.
"The amount deposited at any Post Bank locations will be credited to the beneficiary account at Diamond Trust within 24 hours. Special pay in slips designed for the purpose will be available," he added.
