Harare — DYNAMOS will invade the Midlands Province tomorrow when they take on Ziscosteel at Torwood for the Redcliff Mayor's Charity Challenge Trophy.
The Harare giants have been playing friendly matches with Division One sides to keep in shape as the Premiership is on a two-week break. Last week, DeMbare played Douglas Warriors, with whom they have a special working relationship, at Rufaro.
Ziscosteel are plying their trade in the Southern Region Division One League B and are in sixth place -- seven points behind log leaders Shabanie. Proceeds from the match will go to Rutendo Old People's Home Orphanage and Redcliff OI Clinic.
The rest of the ground tickets will cost US$2 and the VIP tickets will cost US$5. City of Redcliff marketing and projects manager Paul Svongera urged all people in the province to come and watch the former champions.
There is no Premiership franchise in the Midlands this year after Lancashire Steel were relegated at the end of last season and failed to secure their slot via the play-offs.
"We are urging people from Gweru, Kadoma and other areas to come in their numbers as this is the only chance to watch Dynamos since there is no longer any Premiership team in Kwekwe and Gweru.
"It is for a noble cause, helping the orphans and those living positively to get treatment for opportunistic infections so all soccer loving people should come and support the cause and players from both clubs have already done a good thing by playing in this charity match," said Svongera.
