Lagos — A non-governmental organisation, Ondo State Study Group (OSSG), has urged Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State to make good governance and respect for the wish of the people the major focus of his administration. Executive Director of OSSG, Dr. Tuyi Mebawondu-Olowu, in a statement issued in Lagos said the only way through which the governor could reciprocate the massive support and goodwill extended to him by the people of the state during the legal struggle to actualise his mandate is for him to embark on series of people-oriented programmes that would bring rapid socio-economic development to the state.

He also advised the governor to be meticulous in assembling a dynamic team that would help him realise his visionary goals for the people, imploring to form a government that would revolve around men and women of integrity with proven track records of achievements in their various areas of specialisation.

"For long, people of Ondo State have been yearning for a robust leadership that would deliver dividends of democracy to them. Now that Mimiko is there, he is a man with proven records of achievements when he was a commissioner, secretary to the state government and minister.
