Kampala — Early this year we reported that the congregation of then KPC Church in Kampala (now Watoto Church) were shocked when it was announced during service that Pastor Mark Kigozi, the eloquent and humorous district pastor of KPC East, had been temporarily been relieved of his duties in the church.
Apparently, he had failed to strike a balance between his role as a husband, his pastoral duties and family. The suspension was to be upheld until the team leader (senior Pastor Gary Skinner) saw it fit to reinstate Kigozi.
However, that day has not come to pass. Skinner, who is slated for fly out for a cruise holiday in the Mediterranean shortly, announced during all the Sunday services last week that Mark Kigozi had been relieved of his duties as an employee of Watoto Church and that they wished him a better life where ever he went.
