Kampala — IT might not be the splendid surroundings of the all England Croquet Club in Wimbledon, but Suffolk is where Uganda's top tennis player Duncan Mugabe will make his debut on a grass court.

Mugabe will be taking part in the Great Britain F8 Futures tournament that starts tomorrow. "It will be my first time to play on such a surface and I am looking forward to it," Mugabe said. "I have played on clay and hard courts, but never on grass. I hope it will be fine for me."

Mugabe is in a large group that will play qualifiers to enter the main event.

Earlier on, Mugabe participated in three futures tournament's in Britain including the one in Dublin, Ireland where he suffered an early exit.
