Uganda: Irresistible Tornado Set Winless Rounders in Their Sights

Kampala — NATIONAL Premier cricket league champions Tornado take on the winless Rounders in a contest that should see them strengthen their hold on top spot.

Tornado have been untouchable thus far and the Rounders will need something mysterious to end their winning streak. The record national champions have taken maximum points from their first three matches, leaving them 15 points ahead of the Rounders, who are still in search of their first point.

It looks as guaranteed a win as Tornado can ever be a part of but they are not getting carried away. "We are not going to take anything lightly," asserted Tornado all-rounder Franko Nsubuga.

"We are not going to take them for granted. We want to win all our games." Nsubuga explained that the driving force behind Tornado's imposing start to the season was their "experience", which ensures they take every game seriously.

A bonus-point-win for Tornado would see them extend their lead atop the standings by eight points on second-place Wanderers. The opposite result would see the Rounders get their first points of season, which would probably turn around their campaign for good.
