New York — The deputy industry minister, Kiala Gabriel, who led a governmental and entrepreneurial delegation, left New York on Saturday for Luanda, after attending a workshop on "Opportunities and business in Angola", which happened in the US state of New Jersey.
The event, which happened last Thursday, was organised by the Angolan embassy in the USA in partnership with the Angola - US chamber of commerce.
During the meeting the deputy minister lectured about the industrial sector and the investment opportunities in Angola and he also told american businessmen people about the main goals of the Angolan government under the national plan for the period for 2009-2012.
The Angolan delegation was integrated by representatives of the ministries of agriculture and industry, chamber of commerce and national entrepreneurs, namely Pitabel group, Sovinhos, Hemeney Promoções, Lda group and JDK in the field of metallomechnics in the central Bié province.
