He replaces Catherine Abena as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Secondary Education.
Mounouna Foutsou was commissioned last Friday July 3, as the new Secretary of State at the Ministry of Secondary Education by Louis Bapes Bapes, Minster of Secondary Education.
During the ceremony, Louis Bapes Bapes thanked the outgoing Secretary of State while welcoming the incoming. Mounouna Foutsou who is a public works engineer and also an economist, before his nomination as Secretary of State was chef de division de la Promotion économique des jeunes at the Ministry of Youth Affairs as well as the national coordinator of PAJER-U and PIFMAS at the same ministry.
Both projects were geared towards integrating youths in developmental projects in the country. After he was commissioned, Mounouna Foutsou said he has been working with non-schooling youths but now he has the opportunity to work with youths in the educational domain. Noting that he masters the problems of youths, the new Secretary of State said he is going to collaborate with the Minister of Secretary Education in applying youth policies in Cameroon.
