Khartoum — Atraco have finally accepted to release their estranged midfielder Joseph Kabagambe to Sudanese side Al-Neel after the Kagame Club Championships.

"Team officials called me for a meeting and asked me to feature in the remaining Kagame Club Championship matches after which, I will be released to join the Sudanese team," Kabagambe told Daily Monitor.

The player did not appear in Atraco's 2-1 defeat to Mathare United on Thursday. "Some of these chances in football come once and you must take them," the former SC Villa and Express winger said. He is famed for his crossing ability and indiscipline.
