Nigeria:Eddy Remedy Drops New Album

Lagos — Ex-Remedies member, Eddy Asiedu popularly known as Eddy Remedy is set for another album since his departure from the Kennis Music label in 2008. A single from the album, Sentimental, will be released in few days time according to a source close to the act. Glitz Stage was informed that the likes of 9ice, ID Cabasa, Terry G and K-Solo were part of the album which will be released on Eddy's record label, Remedy Records billed for launch soon.

Ever since he left Kennis Music, he has been making frantic efforts to come up with an album. The first person that offered him help was the late Sammie Needle but they had serious disagreements before the album could see the light of day. Afterwards, he recorded another set songs and promoted for a while but they didn't strike the right cords.

In another development, his former group, Remedies made up of him, Tony Tetuila and Eedris Abdulkareem are planning a re-union album. Glitz Stage was also informed that some of the tracks in the re-union album have been recorded.
