Lagos — Tribute to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson would not be complete if space is not given to talk or write about his sense of style. Apart from his music, fashion was one aspect of the late musician's life that clearly endeared him not only to fans but also influenced the runways of New York. Michael Jackson was a fashion brand.

One of the things he had going for him was his love for accessories. He not only dwelt on unique clothes especially the military styled ones, he invested in accessories. Accessories were key to his look. He embraced chunky belts, armbands, fedoras, straps, ties and aviator sunglasses.

Perhaps, the most outstanding of Michael Jackson's accessory would be the single white glove. The glove might be the one piece of clothing most associated with the singer. In the 80s, the white glove was so popular that every kid around the world had to wear a single white glove just because Jackson did. Although he introduced a lot of ground breaking styles, that single white glove certainly defined his style.

Unlike any other glove, his was crystal encrusted. Along with his sequined jackets, he was all glitz and sparkle. The world will miss not just a music star but a true fashionista with peculiar style.
