Kampala — Ten people have died of hunger in the north and north Eastern party of the country. The chairperson of the Acholi Parliamentary group Living stone Okello Okello says.
The MP accuses Government of being reluctant to provide their people with food items.
The Acholi Parliamentary group has written to the world Food Programme, the Food and Agricultural Organization and other non-government organizations for interventions, he says
Some people are dying of simple diseases because their bodies are already weakened by hunger, Okello Okello adds.
