Luanda — Cape Verde's ambassador to Angola, Domingos Mascarenhas, on Friday here considered as excellent the relations between Angola and the West African island nation, Angop has learnt.
He was speaking to the press at Luanda Provincial Government, after a meeting with the governor, Francisca do Espirito Santo, adding that the ties comprise various domains and with visible results.
The diplomat highlighted the co-operation in the area of fuel, with the participation of Angola's state-run oil firm (Sonangol) in the social capital of the local Enacon and Cape-Verde Telecom.
Other investment he pointed was the inauguration early this year, of BAI-Cabo Verde, (African Investment Bank), that is a very important vehicle for Angolan investments in that country.
Cape Verde proclaimed its independence from Portugal on July 05, 1975.
