Angola's Under-19 Basketball Team Beat Iran

Luanda — The Angolan under-19 males basketball national team, on Monday managed to get their first victory in the world championship taking place since July 02 in New Zealand, after defeating Iran by 62-53.

This game was played to define the standing between the 13th up to the 16th positions.

The Angolan squad will play again on Tuesday against New Zealand. The host country beat Syria this Monday by 93-75.

During the groups stage, Angola lost to Lithuania (104-46), Greece (101-58) and Puerto Rico (86-49).
