Enugu — KIDNAPPERS of Mr. Dan Nwomeh, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu state are yet to communicate either with his immediate family or officials of the state government, two days after he was kidnapped.
Nwomeh was abducted by suspected kidnappers, who laid ambush for him around his Independence Layout residence in Enugu at about 10.30 pm on Saturday.
He had driven his official car to his house and was waiting for the gate to be opened when the assailants abducted him and drove away in their vehicle, leaving his official Toyota car behind.
His family members said they heard a minor scuffle outside the gate, but when the gate was eventually opened, they only saw his car at the gate with the two front doors wide open. Nwomeh's mobile telephone line had been switched off since his abduction.
The state Commissioner of Information and Culture, Mr. Chuks Ugwoke, said after attending a meeting at the Government House, Enugu yesterday that the government was working with security agencies to fish out those behind the heinous crime.
He said that the government was worried over the development, especially the delay by the Chief Press Secretary's abductors to contact his family or the government, to enable government determine the motive behind their action.

You see this is an occupational drift from theft to kidnapping. Just inform them that this state wont work for them. God punish them.
