Activists in the Diaspora have planned a series of actions today in solidarity with the seven journalists facing sedition and defamation charges.
In Dakar, the GPU will be hosting a joint press conference with SYNPICS, the IFJ Africa Office, and the Senegalse Broadcasters Association, the Senegalese Committee to Protect and Defend Journalists and TAEF at the SYNPICS Office.
In London, the NUJ, IFJ, Amnesty UK and the TUC have planned a last minute protest at the Gambian High Commission, London on Friday 3 July
