Angola:Govt Attends World Higher Teaching Conference

Luanda — Angola is participating since Sunday in Paris (France) in the second world conference on higher teaching, promoted by Unesco, Angop has learnt.

According to a press note, Angola is represented by the MP Pedro Domingos Peterson, the acting charge de affairs of Angola to Unesco, Rolando Neto, as well as the dean of the Law faculty with State-run Agostinho Neto, José Serra Van-Dúnem.

Other members are the principal of Angola's Catholic University, Dom Damião Franklin, and the technician of the office of the secretary of State for Higher Education, Maria Botelho de Vasconcelos.

Under the theme "New dynamic of education and searching of higher teaching for change and development of society", the Angolan representatives will debate themes related to researching and the future of the higher teaching in the world.
