Luanda — The expert in international relations defended on Sunday that the success of the Angolan diplomacy results from the improvement of the internal situation.
Speaking to ANGOP, Valentino Manuel Caley, also co-ordinator of international relations of Belas University, said that this factor also contributed to new achievements at the level of international diplomacy, as Angola has been showing a good image in the international policy scene since 2002.
The official noted that even during the conflict that lasted over 29 years the international community paid attention to the position and evolution of the country's situation.
To him, nowadays the country conquered the credibility of countries from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region, African continent and the world, by showing that Angola has managed to solve its domestic problems.
Valentino Caley stressed that Angola's participation at the G-8 Summit this month, is a great challenge for the country to meet, in its first participation, the expectations surrounding this invitation.
The source also defended that during the debates Angola should not only take into account the domestic policy, but also regional and continental policies.
