Luanda — A team of the Japanese International Co-operation Agency (Jica) arrived this afternoon in the country for a six-day visit meant to learn on functioning of health sector and identify possible areas for co-operation, Angop has learnt.
The mission led by the ambassador and charge d'affairs for health sector for Africa of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Yasuhiro Yamamoto, is to meet with officials of the sector.
Visits to the hospitals Américo Boavida, Josina Machel and Luanda General Hospital, as well as an audience with the Japanese ambassador, Kazuhico Koshikawa, are on team's agenda.
Afterwards, the team is to leave for South Africa for a 48-hour visit with the same goal.
