Luanda — The bilateral relations between Angola and Germany were more strengthened with the visit last February by president José Eduardo dos Santos, to the European country.
It was affirmed by the head of German parliamentary delegation, Maria Eichhorn, at the end of an audience on Tuesday, with the speaker of the National Assembly, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, where was expressed great interest that the German businessmen have to invest in the African country, mainly in the petrochemical industry.
"Germany has a lot to offer in this sector", she underlined, compromising to release the opportunities that Angola offers in this key branch of economic activity.
The European country's parliamentary delegation held several meetings with the commissions of the National Assembly, where was shown the interest of German businessmen to invest in the Southern African country, as well as to strengthen the cooperation ties.
With the sixth commission of the National Assembly, the visiting delegation discussed issues related to cooperation between the sector of professional training of the German Parliament, having suggested the establishment of contacts with the responsible authorities in order to get the know-how of this system.
