Luanda — The German ambassador to Angola, Bernd Morast, said Tuesday in Luanda that the country's participation in the G8 Summit opening Wednesday in Italy, is an evidence of the importance of Angola in the world politics.
The diplomat was speaking to the press at the end of an audience granted to him by Angolan prime minister, António Paulo Kassoma.
To Bernd Morast, Angola's participation in the G8 Summit is an evidence of the importance of the country not only within the African context but also in the world.
He also highlighted the importance of Angola in the southern region of the continent and considered the two countries as natural partners.
