Luanda — The German ambassador to Angola, Bernd Morast, on Tuesday announced here that his country wants to open a business office meant to boost co-operation and increase talks between both sides, Angop has learnt.
This was announced to press by the diplomat, after an audience granted by the Premier, António Paulo Kassoma, following his two-year mission to the African country.
He said that the relations between the two countries are reinforced with the visit of the Angolan President, José Eduardo dos Santos, to that European country, last February, during which were signed accords on cultural strategic partnership.
The diplomat said that commercial exchange between the two countries has been increased in 71 per cent over the last two years, adding that 20 German company representations are working in Angola.
He also confirmed that the European country's firms will participate in the next edition of Luanda International Fair, set for this month.
