Harare — THE Zimbabwe Olympic Committee will host their annual Bulawayo stakeholders meeting in the City of Kings on July 18.
The meeting, to be be held at the Bulawayo Holiday Inn Hotel from 9am to 12pm, serves as one of the several platforms that ZOC uses to communicate with stakeholders to keep them updated on key developments, programmes and activities.
Stanley Mutoya, the ZOC general manager, said yesterday that the organisation's chief executive Robert Mutsauki and development officer Primrose Mhunduru will attend and make presentations at this meeting.
Mutoya will also make presentations during the same meeting in Bulawayo.
He said the programme also provides for stakeholders to advise the meeting of their activities and programmes, including upcoming activities.
Delegates will also have an opportunity to engage in a question-and-answer session with the ZOC delegation to obtain more clarity in key issues of their interest.
"We have invited all National Sports Associations based in Bulawayo or surrounding areas, Bulawayo-based Provincial Sports Associations, NUST, Ministry of Education, Sport, Arts and Culture, NASH, NAPH, the Sports Commission, Bulawayo Municipality, ZRP, Academies and sports clubs based in Bulawayo to attend this meeting.
"We are also going to be donating a few items of sports kit and equipment to selected disadvantaged groups based in Bulawayo or surrounding areas as a gesture of commitment to sport development," Mutoya said.
