Harare — REIGNING Miss Tourism Zimbabwe Vanessa Sibanda recently donated goods worth US$2 000 to orphans at the Home of Hope Orphanage in Zimunya Village Ward 6 in Mutare.
The home is run by Pastor Juliana Maramba and caters for 20 children and also assists 100 others who live in the same area.
Sibanda who was accompanied by Zimbabwe Tourism Authority public relations executive Anna Moyo, donated 80 litres of cooking oil, 250kg of mealie meal, 80kg salt, 80kg sugar and 40 blankets.
Pinnacle Holdings provided the money used to buy the foodstuffs, Croco Motors provided the blankets and Ekhaya Petroleum ferried the goods from Harare to Mutare.
Pastor Maramba pays school fees for 20 orphans, 15 enrolled at Mount Dangare Primary School while the rest attend other schools within the area.
Sibanda urged ward six residents to continue helping the orphans.
