Uíge — Northern Uíge Province's literary market won Tuesday another book entitled "Percursos Espinhosos", written by Pedro Benga Lima "Foguetão", whose presentation took place at a local university centre.
The 28-chapter book portrays the country's most determining facts since the beginning of the liberation war against colonialism until the early 1990's, the start of the cold war.
The book presenter, Gabriel Cabuço, head of the National Book and Disc Institute editorial department explained that the act is part of Uíge City's festivity, celebrated from 01 to 04 July.
Pedro Benga Lima, currently an Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) brigadier, was born in Bembe District, Uíge Province, on 08 January 1949, having joined the ruling MPLA party in 1965, in Songolo District, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
