Nigeria: Uni-Jos Warns Students Against Cultism, Indecent Dressing

Unijos — The Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Jos, Professor Joash Amupitan has warned the newly admitted students of the faculty to avoid cultism and in decent dressing.

Professor Amupitan gave the warning at the orientation lecture titled "Cultism and Indecent dressing on Campus" organized by the executives of the Law Student Society (LSS).

He said "our rules on dress code are very much in place and the task force on dress code is on ground to identify and recommend appropriate sanction on defaulters, and you should be aware that cultism on campus in this university attracts expulsion if you are involved."

He said only students who attain the 70 percent class attendance can qualify to sit for exams and advised students to give a good account of their selves by maintaining the good name the faculty is known for.
