Luanda — Government members have stressed Angola's participation at G-8 Summit taking place from Wednesday to Friday in L'Aquila, Italy.
Minister of Justice, Guilhermina Prata, said that it is extremely important the participation of Angola at the summit of the world most developed countries whose delegation will be leaded by president José Eduardo dos Santos.
"It will be a good opportunity for the international community to look at efforts developed by Angola in various areas" she added.
The same idea is shared by the minister of Industry, Joaquim David, saying that this is the great opportunity for the Southern African country to speak on economic matters in world context.
Angolan deputy minister of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Alberto Bragança, considered the invitation as recognition from the international community about what the country has been done to reach economic development.
This is a result of all the prestige that Angolan president José Eduardo dos Santos won from the international community.
The summit of the world most industrialised nations (G-8) started on Wednesday in the city of LAquila, Italy.
