Rwanda: OTC Market Quiet for Two Days in a Row

Yesterday the Rwanda Over The Counter (OTC) market was silent for the second day as no transactions were recorded. A market report from the Rwanda Capital Market Advisory Council (CMAC) says that at the close of the session, no shares where on offer.

The report says that the bond market was also quiet.

"At the close of the business, Rwf2 billion worth of government bonds were on offer at Rwf99.8 and there were two bids of Rwf2 billion and Rwf5 million for the same bonds at Rwf94.00 and Rwf97.80, respectively. There were also BCR bank bonds worth Rwf 150 million on offer at Rwf 100.50."
