Luanda — Luanda provincial director for culture, Manuel Sebastião, on wednesday urged cultural promoters to arrange large public events aimed at attracting national and foreign tourists by 2010, at the time of African Nations Football Championships (CAN 2010).

"We want to see Luanda wearing the colours of joy during the ACP peers assembly and CAN 2010 because we will host people coming from other provinces and abroad" - he said during a meeting with cultural agents.

Mr Sebastião said the meeting aimed at imforming and sensitizing the cultural agents on the need to promote such activities and to organize a bulk of sports events and also to discuss aspects related to the forthcoming 16th session of the ACP( Africa, Carib and Pacific peers assembly, scheduled from November 25 to December 03 and expected to bring to the country over 400 MPs from those regions.
