Asmara — Parents called on students who headed for Sawa to complete their high school education to avail themselves of the existing educational opportunities. Reports indicated that more than 5,200 students, out of whom 2,000 are females, from 17 secondary schools in the Southern region left for the Warsay-Yikaalo School in Sawa on July 6, while about 6,000 others, out of which 3,000 are females, from 19 high schools in the Central region left for the same school.
The students were given warm sendoff by thousands of people, administrative bodies and others.
The Ministry of Education's branch offices in the respective regions expressed appreciation for the parties that made due contribution for the smooth sendoff of the students.
