Kampala — BUKWO and Kapchorwa districts dominated day one as the national secondary schools athletics championships started in Gulu yesterday.
Dicskon Huru started the domination as he led Kapchorwa to victory in the cross-country event in a time of 27:20.89 minutes.
"My best race is not this 8km cross country. My favourite is 5000 meters on the track where my personal best is 13:32.61 minutes. And I am sure I will make it with another win in that race," Huru said.
