Audu confirmed this during the team arrival from former apartheid country where he led the team against all odds to be crowned as the King of African beach soccer that having the gold medal hang in his neck with the trophy is his main ambition in Dubai .

He said, "I have put behind me the victory recorded at the South Africa event, what I am looking ahead is how to win the world cup proper in Dubai. I feel elated to have won the soccer cup for the country being my first time as a national coach and I am aiming to achieve more feats in the game".

While responding on the team toughest match throughout the event, coach Audu narrated that they faced a turbulent task in their match against the Egyptians who gave them tough time. He added that it was the grace of God for them to have won the game.

"We had a tough match against the Egyptians, it take the grace of God for us to have won the game because they really played us to the task. At the end we came out victorious and it is due to God's mercy", said Audu.
