Abuja — The Nigeria Football Federation yesterday invited 34 players to the Home-based Super Eagles camp in Abuja ahead of series of friendly matches to fine-tune the team for the coming qualifying campaign for the African Nations Championship.
The players are to report to camp on July 16 at the Ibrumza Hotel LTD, Durumi District, Area One, of Abuja. Top on the list of invited players are two members of the victorious Super Beach Eagles who were instrumental to the success achieved in Durban, South Africa last week.
They are Captain Isiaka Olawale and defence ace Ogbonaya Okonkwo as well as returnees David Tyavkase and Gbenga Ajala. Other notable players invited to the camp are Bassey Akpan, John Gaadi, Ambrose Efe, Chibuzor Okonkwo, Uga Opkara, Ike Thnak-God as well as Tony Abawula, Ndubuisi Okeke and Chibuzor Okonkwo.
Also on the list are Pillars' trio of Gambo Mohammed, Bello Kofarmata and Henry Uche as well as Abdulahi Isa, Yinka Adedeji, Nnaemeka Anyanwu, Promise Cletus, Marshal Johnson, Sunday Mba and Victor Michael.
