Nigeria: Flying Eagles to Camp in Mallorca

Abuja — Flying Eagles Head Coach, Samson Siasia has revealed plans for a one month training camp in Mallorca Spain ahead of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt next September, assuring that after the series of friendlies the Eagles will be ready for the World Cup campaign.

"We will proceed to Mallorca, Spain for our final camping on August 20 and leave Mallorca on September 20. We will be ready for the World Cup after this programme", said Siasia.

He also informed that he will lead his team back to Nigeria at the end of the month, the players will go on a one-week break, before resuming for a possible exhibition game with the Nigeria Military Football Team in Lagos, before flying to Accra for the friendly with African champions Ghana on August 15.

The players at the Eagles Doha camp as at yesterday are Oladele Ajiboye, Uche Okafor, Sunday Abe, Gbolahan Salami, Saheed Fabiyi, King Osanga, Joshua Obaje, Lawal Raheem, Edet Ibok, Chukwuka Onuwa, Michael Babatunde, Obiora Nwankwo, Mohammed Shagari, Solomon Okpako, Osadebamen Okoro, Sunday Emmanuel, Ella Agaba, Emmanuel Paul, Nurudeen Orelesi, Uchechi Chima Daniel.
