Kigali — MILITARY boosted their chances of playing topflight football next season after piping Group A leaders Musanze on Wednesday.
With only the top two guaranteed a slot in the play-offs, Military were under pressure to execute and did just that when they earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory at Ubworoherane stadium.
Jean Pierre Mugabo's first half strike proved the difference between the sides as Military held on firmly to recapture their second spot in the group after moving to 30 points.
They are now one point above Nyanza which means that a win against Stella Maris this Saturday will automatically secure them a play-off spot where they will play the winner in Group B.
