Lagos — Imo State Governor, Ikedi Ohakim, will on Thursday, July 16, present three books written by him on contemporary issues in politics and challenges of transformational leadership.

The books will be reviewed by a former Minister for External Affairs, Professor Bolaji Akinyemi, and Director of Ken Nnamani Foundation, Dr Sam Amadi.
President Umaru Yar'Adua is expected to be the special guest of honour, while the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Mohammed Sa'ad Abubakar III, would be the Chairman. Chairman, South East council of traditional rulers, Dr. C.I. Ilomuanya, is the royal father of the day.
A statement issued by Chairman of the planning committee, Mr Pini Jason, noted, "a major challenge of contemporary leadership in this part of the world is not only the discipline to think or sometimes, the courage to do things differently. It is also the ability to tell a success story in a way that others can prove and replicate it.
"The three volumes by Ohakim are a must read for anyone who wants to beat a path in a forest of daunting odds."
