Sainey Touray's double strike in the 6th minute and the second goal in the three minute of the five minute added time on Sunday, shattered the hopes of the 2008 league and FA champions to make any mend for silver wear this season.
Young lad beautifully tapped in for Young Africans in the 6th minute when Sainey was connected in the yard with a pass through which he wasted no time to volley into the net.
Wallidan were astonished about Young Africans. They began to exerted more pressure on their feeder team to frustrate their defensive built up.
Sainey Touray (Ballack) George Cole, Ebrima Sonko, all had numerous chances to turn down the score line but was denied by goal keeper Babucarr Bah who was very alert and jelously guarded his goal mouth.
And the first half ended 1-0. Upon resumption into the 2nd half, Young Africans re-enforced their team with messi and others whilst Wallidan also introduced Isha Dem their usual savior.
The presence of these players heightened the tempo and momentum of the game. Having seen the time gradually fading out, Wallidan desperately pushed hard to equal but their threats were all dispelled.
In the 87th minute, Young Africans had a penalty when Ansumana Samateh held Young Africans striker in the 18 yard. Goal keeper Babucarr Bah stepped in, but missed after sending Wallidan goal keeper to the wrong direction.
George Cole could have cancelled the lone goal for Wallidan when he triggered for goal, but was again denied by goalkeeper Babucarr Bah.
And in the 3rd minute of the 5 minutes added time, Sainey Touray again sent in a low drive to seal the scoring to 2-0 in favour of Young Africans.
Pap Gaye assistant coach for Wallidan said that his players created several chances but could not score and Young Africans had two chances which they scored.
Public Relation Officer of Young Africans revealed that his team is now transformed. Their players are well motivated that is why they are untouchable, he opined. "We beat the league champions (Armed Forces). Who can stop us?" he asked.
