National team players Nadir Haroub and Nizar Khalfan are progressing well in their trails with Vancouver Whitecaps, according to LZ Enterprise's official.
The duo arrived in Canada on July 3 for the three-month trials with the Canadian champions.
Speaking by telephone from Canada, firm's manager Rahim Kagenzi said Whitecaps' officials were impressed by skills of the duo.
"They are performing very well in all training sessions, so I'm confident the lads will make it," he said.
He promised to update The Citizen frequently about the progress of the players.
He said: "They will play their first match against Toronto FC tomorrow it's my hope that they will use it to show what they are capable of."
Commenting on Zahoro Pazi, Kangezi said the player would travel after securing his visa.
"He'll get the visa soon, thus we expect him to join Whitecaps in a few days," he said.
If Haroub and Nizar pass the trials, they will swell the number of Tanzanian players plying their trades abroad.
Last week, Simba's midfield maestro Henry Joseph secured a lucrative deal with a Norwegian first division club, Kongsvinger FC.
Meanwhile, Young Africans' inspirational striker Boniface Ambani is set to sign a one-year deal with a Chinese club, Zhen Jiang Green Town.
The striker went for trials at the club in February and passed the trials, but Young Africans refused to release him because he was key to their title defence campaign.
Last season, the towering striker emerged as the top scorer with 24 goals in all competitions.
The outspoken marksman said his departure would not destabilise the team, saying, the Jangwani Street giants have recruited brilliant players for the 2009/2010 season.
