Tessenei — The residents of Tessenei town extended material assistance worth over1 million Nakfa to farmers who voluntarily relocated to Aligidir administrative area from the Anseba, Southern and Northern Red Sea region in order to improve their standard of living.
The head of social service in Tessenei sub-zone, Mr. Redie Bahlibi, stated that tents and other materials have been purschased and distributed to martyrs' families andneedy members of therelocated families from the money raised by the residents of the town. He further explained that on top of the Government's assistance, the local inhabitants are extending the necessary support to the relocated families.
Mr. Redie pointed out that the Government is doing its level best to fulfill their basic need and transportation service on a priority basis, and that farm plots would be extended to them soon.In this respect, he commended the local inhabitants and members of the Defense Force for assisting the families.
