Sulayman Bah

10 July 2009

Ban on Ball conge players have been lifted by the Serrekunda East sports Development organization said secretary general of the East committee, Alagie Nyassi.

This followed after THEY held an executive meeting and decided to pardon all suspended teams and players, he said.

The duo was not the only players handed an indefinite suspension by the out-going committee in an attempt to curb player violence.

Their suspension came on the wake of increasing player violence and the measure taken to curb such acts, was with unlimited suspension.

Modou Njie and Bakary Dampha were suspended for scaling the zones and for having used abusive words to a committee member. Among the indefinite suspended players was Ahmad Badjan for also fighting committee members and were asked to surrender their registration cards within three days or risk forfeiting their gate earnings.
