Luanda — Angola's male team of roller skate hockey on Friday beat Italy 5-2, in a game qualifying for the sixth to eighth place of the 39th world championship, taking place in Vigo and Pontevedras, Spain, Angop learned.
By the half time, Angola were beating the opponents by 2-1, with goals by André Centeno and Rui André.
In the second half, Angolans Rui André, Johe and Rui Miguel scored.
Italy scored through Travasino and Bertolucci.
On Saturday, Angola will be playing France and in case of a victory it may secure the fifth place in the championship.
Angola's latest position in a world championship was 8th.
