Kampala — ONLY 24% of married women in Uganda have access to contraceptives, a study by Family Health International (FHI) an international NGO, has revealed.
According to the study, 41% of the women want to use contraceptives, but do not have access to them.
Dr. Angela Akol, the FHI country director, told politicians and health workers during the function to launch the District Family Planning Champions that family planning services, as an element of reproductive health had been neglected.
The public was advised to practice good Child spacing to have manageable families.
